“Life is racing. Everything else is just waiting.”
(Steve McQueen)

Born at the dawn of the new Millennium, the Modena Cento Ore is a great combination of wonderful cars and gentlemen drivers, classic motorsport and tourism, exciting roads and breath-taking landscapes, culinary delights and great wines.

The 2017 edition will be dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Ferrari, with a special classification for cars born in our beloved city and a special celebration on the final day for all the enthusiasts that have been in love with the prancing horse for seven decades.

Participants and their support crews will enjoy a rich programme in this renovated “coast to coast” scenic route from East to West, in both the Competition and the Regularity sections.
The challenge will be tough, with 3 circuit races in Misano, Magione and Mugello and a dozen special stages on uphill roads closed to traffic, but at night participants will have the time to savour the best hotels of Rimini, Florence, Forte dei Marmi and Modena, dinners in unique locations, great chefs and the best Italian wines.
The grids will be limited as usual to 90 cars, to make sure that we are able to keep the cozy and friendly atmosphere we really care about.

The rally will start with the registration on Tuesday, June 6th at 13:00 and will end in Piazza Grande, in the heart of Modena, on Saturday, June 11th at 17:00. Cento Ore, one hundred memorable hours!

You can choose to battle in tough races in the Competition section or opt for a lighter but still challenging experience in the Regularity section, which follows exactly the same route, including racetracks and closed road stages.

Don’t miss the opportunity to live this unique challenge with your classic car: apply soon as spaces are limited and will fill up quickly!

February 23rd, 2017 - Modena Cento Ore 2017: partnership with Cuervo y Sobrinos
We are pleased to announce that our partnership with Cuervo y Sobrinos continues for 2017, with an important update: this year, each crew will receive an automatic watch from the prestigious maison as a gift.
Cuervo y Sobrinos is the only brand of fine Swiss watches with a ‘Latin’ soul, and this year marks its 135th anniversary.

In addition to its masterpieces, this historic Maison distinguishes itself from every other luxury watch brand also thanks to its storied past, which reaches back to its birth in Havana in 1882.
The combination of its ‘Latin soul’ – warmth, elegance, refinement, joie de vivre – and ‘Swiss heart’ – expertise, precision, craftsmanship and technology – give the brand a distinct and inimitable identity.
In addition to its masterpieces of horology and jewellery, Cuervo y Sobrinos’ own unique positioning, tradition and identity differentiate this Havana-born brand from any other luxury watch maker.

February 07th, 2017 - The three racetracks of the Modena Cento Ore
We are happy to confirm the three racetracks that will be part of the 2017 Modena Cento Ore challenge.
While Misano and Mugello have been confirmed, the third circuit will be Magione.

Imola couldn’t confirm its availability, even though our booking request was sent last August, due to contractual restrictions that force them to give priority to the concert traditionally held at the beginning of June. We are sad to announce that this year, instead of the Cento Ore’s racing jewels, the racetrack named after the great Enzo Ferrari will offer its visitors a Guns N’ Roses concert.
We tried our best to reach an agreement with the racetrack management that would allow both events to take place, but it was all in vain.
All we can do is deplore the awful choice made by the racetrack management, who probably forgot the reasons behind its creation and the choice of its glorious name.

Nevertheless, the good news is that the second leg of the race will treat the participants to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy. There will also be two amazing, long and challenging special stages through the vineyards and woods of Tuscany. A coffee break in Arezzo will also give us the chance to take a memorable postcard in the breath-taking medieval square of the city.
